Just think, I’ve been doing permanent makeup since before anyone even knew it was a thing. Microblading? Yeah, that was still a twinkle in the beauty industry’s eye when I started!

A Journey Like No Other

My journey into the world of permanent cosmetics began innocently enough as a medical esthetician. Thanks to my supervising physician, I found myself diving headfirst into the world of permanent makeup. He saw potential in me, encouraging me to train in paramedical tattooing—yes, that’s the fancy term for tattooing areolas after breast reconstruction and doing scar camo. Talk about leaving a mark, right?

After a few years of changing lives with that important work, I dabbled in the beauty world—think eyebrows, lips, and eyeliner! I spent some time in Scottsdale, Arizona, soaking up the sun and perfecting my craft before heading to Las Vegas, where I really made my mark (pun intended). When I arrived in Sin City, there were only four permanent makeup artists—count them, four! And I was one of them!

The Wild World of Permanent Makeup

Fast forward to today, and the permanent makeup scene has exploded! It’s like finding out that everyone suddenly loves pickles—women from all ages and backgrounds are seeking out the best permanent makeup. You know what they say: once you go permanent, you never go back!

Las Vegas has strict licensing requirements for permanent makeup, and I’ve kept my credentials squeaky clean. I've maintained my license through the Southern Nevada Health District and I even have a trainer's license—because, yes, I also love sharing my knowledge with the next generation of artists! I even opened the first brick-and-mortar training facility for permanent cosmetics in Las Vegas. Not to brag, but my training sessions could probably win awards!

Coming Back to My Roots

Being a true native Arizonan (grew up in Flagstaff), I couldn’t resist the call of my home state. In 2020, I purchased a lovely piece of land just outside Kingman where I plan to indulge my dreams of sustainable farming and homesteading. Yes, I’m that artist who enjoys a little bit of ranch life alongside the glam.

Now, opening a satellite location for permanent cosmetics in Kingman wasn’t an overnight decision. Arizona doesn’t have any licensing for permanent makeup, and I admit I had my reservations. I mean, who thought I’d want regulations? But when you’ve seen the aftermath of untrained artists, it suddenly becomes a priority. 

I finally took the plunge and began testing the waters here in Kingman, and wow, what a welcome! The community embraced me and made me feel right at home. It's like the warm hug of a baked potato on a chilly night—just what I needed!

I absolutely love the amazing women I've met in Kingman, especially at Pampered Perfection Salon. This tight-knit community has something special, and I can already tell I'm going to fit right in. Sure, I love my Las Vegas clients—some have been with me for years—but there’s just something about Kingman that feels like a big, warm blanket.

In my pursuit of the best permanent makeup, I’m excited to offer top-notch services and share my wealth of experience—28 years and counting! Yes, I’ve done the rounds with workshops and certifications galore. I’m a professional member of almost every permanent makeup organization that exists, including the SPCP. That just means I’ve jumped through all the hoops—it’s like a beauty obstacle course!

But just to be clear, when you come to me, you’re not getting a jack-of-all-trades. I won’t be waxing your lady parts, painting your toenails, or giving massages. Nope!
